Audrey Trick and her family are currently fostering their fourth BluePath dog, Zappa. Previous fosters included Sammy, Sonny and Jacey; Sammy became a beloved pet and both Sonny and Jacey were placed as service dogs.
While Audrey takes the lead with each of the family’s foster dogs, she’s supported by her parents, Jean Marie and Robert, and her sister, Charlotte. Audrey always wanted a puppy, and when Jean Marie discovered BluePath, she thought that it would be a perfect opportunity to connect Audrey’s yearning for a puppy while also making a difference in the world.
“I love seeing the dogs’ personalities and getting to know each one of them – they’re all special in their own way,” Audrey shares. “I think everyone should foster. It\’s really rewarding getting to see the impact that the dogs have with their families. They make people’s lives so much better.”
