Become a Sitter

Volunteer sitters take our dogs into their homes for short periods of time when raisers and fosters are unavailable. Sitter opportunities are commonly in Westchester and Dutchess Counties, with limited availability in other parts of the country.

Being a sitter is great for people who cannot make a longtime commitment but who want to have a lasting impact on the lives of others. I love knowing that the dog I’m caring for can potentially become a service dog for a child with autism.
