I understand that participating in the BluePath Service Dogs Walkathon on May 10, 2025 includes an element of risk to myself. I represent that I will not participate unless physically able. I agree to abide by any decision of an event official relative to my ability to participate in this event safely and further agree that event officials may authorize necessary emergency treatment, if needed. I further assume any and all other risks associated with participating in this event including, but not limited to, traveling to and from the event, illness, falls, contact with spectators or other participants or dogs, the effects of weather and the surface condition of the roads and sidewalks. I have assessed all such risks and understand them. I further agree to abide by all the rules of participation of this event. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, and in consideration of the acceptance of my entry, I hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators or anyone else who might claim on my behalf, covenant to sue, and waive, release and discharge BluePath Service Dogs, Inc., the Town of Yorktown, FDR State Park, event officials, volunteers and any and all other sponsors, supplies, agents, independent contractors, employees and any other negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or parties named in this waiver.
