BluePath dogs play a key role in empowering families to enjoy shared experiences, strengthening their bonds and sense of connection. The profound impact of this work is transformative, offering families renewed hope and optimism for the future.
Since our launch in late 2016, we have proudly matched 55 service dogs with individuals on the autism spectrum and their families, all at no cost.
We offered a continuous lifeline of support to these service dog teams, providing regular visits from New York City and New York State’s Capital Region to New Jersey, Connecticut, and areas of Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.
 Our Paws to Learn Program reached more than 2,500 children and adults. Before placement with families, BluePath dogs spend time in schools, camps, and adult residential facilities, where participants report benefits of emotional support, mood regulation, improved social interaction, and increased physical activity.
Some of our dogs take on alternative careers as full-time facility therapy dogs in educational settings. Our team has placed six facility therapy dogs who collectively interact with over 6,000 children each year, enhancing the students’ overall school experience.
Our volunteer community has grown to over 180 active members, who take on crucial roles such as raising and fostering BluePath dogs. United by a shared purpose, volunteers drive our mission forward with incredible enthusiasm and dedication. As we scale our efforts to serve more families impacted by autism, volunteer support will remain essential to our success.
BluePath has once again earned Charity Navigator’s top four-star rating and Platinum status on Candid GuideStar, reaffirming that donors, partners, and volunteers can trust their support is driving meaningful change.
We have continued to strengthen relationships within our community, fostering innovative partnerships that have been pivotal in expanding our reach and unlocking new opportunities for support and collaboration.
