BluePath dogs empower families to experience more of life together, building confidence, connection, and joy in moments that once felt out of reach.
Since our inception, we’ve matched 61 service dogs with children on the autism spectrum and their families, with each placement provided entirely free of charge. Additionally, we’ve placed nine facility dogs in educational settings. We remain a trusted partner to these teams, providing ongoing training and support across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and parts of Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.
Our Paws to Learn program reached more than 2,500 children and adults, with participants reporting that BluePath dogs provide emotional support, assistance with mood regulation, opportunities for social engagement and connectedness, and increased physical activity.
Our Facility Therapy Dog program reached more than 7,700 children, greatly improving their school experiences by enhancing therapies and reducing anxiety.
BluePath again earned Charity Navigator’s top four-star rating and Platinum status on Candid GuideStar, reaffirming our commitment to transparency, accountability, and measurable impact.
We strengthened community partnerships, including a collaboration with New York’s Inclusive Initiative to provide specialized training for first responders, helping ensure safer, more informed interactions with neurodivergent individuals and expanding awareness in the community.
Our team continues to refine our training systems, introducing practical tools that support healthy development and learning. We also transitioned our breeding and veterinary information to the International Working Dog Database to improve program management.
We produced the new short film Hope in Motion, sharing stories of autism families and the life-changing impact of their BluePath service dogs. Coverage on FoxNY and other outlets helped expand awareness of our mission and the difference BluePath dogs make.
As we look ahead, we are inspired to keep raising the bar – expanding our reach, deepening our impact, and transforming more lives.
