Humans of BluePath: Erica Stanzione

Erica is BluePath’s Director of Marketing and Development. She manages donor relationships, coordinates events, and oversees the grant writing program, while also finding time to support the needs of other departments.

“I was drawn to the nonprofit sector as I’ve always been passionate about improving the world and I enjoy working alongside like-minded people,” shares Erica. “I fell in love with the BluePath mission because I love dogs and it’s just amazing to see how much they can help humans.”

Erica is the proud new mom of adorable 9-month-old Derek, a future BluePath puppy raiser. During downtime, Erica enjoys time outside with Derek and her husband, Waldo; they love to walk along the Hudson River and visit nearby parks.

“A favorite part of my job is sharing graduate stories with our supporters,” Erica continues. “We’re all inspired by the difference BluePath dogs make in people’s lives; there are a lot of happy tears.”

“Erica is the glue that holds us all together,” said Michelle Brier, BluePath’s VP for Marketing and Development. “I’m not sure where we’d be without her organizational skills and her keen eye for details. We are so lucky to have her on our team!”
