Walkathon Sponsor Spotlight: Croton Lions Club

The Croton Lions Club is a Platinum Sponsor of the 2020 Walkathon and a supporter of BluePath since our inception.  Croton Lions created a special “Dog Day” event to raise funds and awareness, and members have served as ambassadors for our mission throughout the Lions community.

The Club has continued to serve during the coronavirus pandemic.  They’ve organized food donation sites and packed groceries for distribution, with the latter effort growing to 280 bags weekly.  Members donated 3D printed face masks and cleaning supplies to first responder agencies, as well as more than 8,000 ear saver straps to local organizations.  They recently started making face shields for medical facilities; they’ve already distributed 400 shields and have an additional 300 in production.

The Croton Lions Club truly represents all of the Lion ideals – leading by example, building relationships and improving the world through kindness.  Their membership is extremely skilled, innovative and engaged, and they’ve become our friends and partners in bettering the world.
